Adding a signature to your e-mail 

In the professional business world, it is important to have your signature at the end of your e-mail correspondences. Using Gmail, you can create personalised signatures for your email messages that may include text, images, or your electronic business card. You may want to add an image that contains a handwritten signature. The options are endless. To do this, there are a few easy steps to follow:

  1. Click on the settings gear at the top right of your gmail account window.
  2. Under General Settings scroll all the way down until you see the signature box.
  3. Click on the signature option ( remove the no signature)
  4. Insert your custom signature in the text box and format it as you wish
  5. Scroll down and click on save changes

Automatic Responses while on vacation

If you are out of the office, or on a holiday and expecting an important e-mail, Gmail allows you to set automatic responses that can be sent on your behalf automatically. To activate this feature you follow these easy steps:

  1. Click on the settings gear at the top right of your gmail account window.
  2. Under General Settings scroll all the way down until you see the vacation responder box.
  3. To activate it click on vacation responder on
  4. Set the start and end dates when your want your responder functioning
  5. Insert the message your wish to send
  6. You can also set if you want the responder to work with your contacts only or for everyone.
  7. When your are done, scroll down, and click on save changes.
